Legal Documentation
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used by website owners and operators to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide reporting information. Cookies set by the website owner, in this case DentalStock Pro, are called "first-party cookies". Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies". Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided through the website, such as analytics tools.
Cookies may be "session cookies", which are temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies", which remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them manually. We use both session and persistent cookies on the DentalStock Pro website and platform as described in this policy.
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes: to enable essential website and platform functionality that you have specifically requested, including keeping you logged into your account between sessions; to remember your settings and preferences so you do not have to re-enter them each time you visit; to analyse how visitors use our website and platform so we can measure and improve performance and user experience; to help us understand which features are most useful to our users; to maintain the security of your account and detect and prevent fraudulent activity; and to ensure the platform behaves consistently across different devices and browsers.
We do not use cookies to track you across third-party websites, to serve targeted advertisements based on your browsing behaviour on external websites, or to sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Third-Party Cookies
In addition to our own cookies, certain third-party service providers whose services we have integrated into the DentalStock Pro website and platform may place cookies on your device. These third-party cookies are subject to the respective privacy and cookies policies of those providers.
Stripe, our payment processing provider, may set cookies in connection with payment transactions and fraud prevention measures. These cookies are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookies policy available at stripe.com/privacy. Our analytics provider may set cookies to collect aggregated, de-identified data about how users interact with the platform. This data is used solely to help us improve the Service and is not used to identify individual users or to serve targeted advertising.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels on the DentalStock Pro website or platform. We do not permit third-party advertisers to place cookies on our website or platform for the purpose of serving you targeted advertisements based on your browsing behaviour.
5. How to Manage Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences in the following ways.
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically configure your browser to refuse all cookies, to alert you when a cookie is being sent, to accept only first-party cookies, or to delete existing cookies. The following links provide instructions for managing cookies in the most common browsers: Google Chrome at support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647; Mozilla Firefox at support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer; Apple Safari at support.apple.com/en-au/guide/safari/manage-cookies; and Microsoft Edge at support.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoft-edge/delete-cookies-in-microsoft-edge.
Please note that restricting cookies may impact the functionality of the DentalStock Pro platform. In particular, disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the platform. If you use different devices or browsers to access the Website, you will need to manage your cookie settings on each device and browser separately.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not wish to have your activity tracked. The DentalStock Pro website currently does not respond to DNT signals because there is no consistent industry standard for how DNT should be implemented. We will revisit this policy as industry standards evolve. In the meantime, you can use the browser and opt-out tools described above to manage your privacy preferences.
7. Cookies and Personal Information
Some cookies we use may be associated with personal information, for example if you are logged into your account, a cookie may be linked to your account details. We handle any personal information collected via cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For more information about how we collect, use, and protect personal information, including information collected through cookies, please read our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to This Cookies Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this policy and provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Website after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Cookies Policy. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at info@dentalstockpro.com.au.
